Celebrate the end of summer and the upcoming school year at the BFK!
Grab your backpack and pencils and join us for a day of exciting school-inspired activities. Make a bookmark in The Studio, decorate a sign and pose for a back-to-school photo, learn about healthy and easy after school snacks, fill out a BFK Report Card by playing at each exhibit and earning a completion check, and much more!
This event is FREE with the paid price of admission or a BFK membership. No pre-registration is required.
Join us for Baby’s Night Out at the BFK! On Wednesday, September 3 from 4:30 – 6pm, we’re hosting an event for babies and their grown-ups. The evening will include opportunities to connect with new families, access to parenting resources from First Five Fox Valley and VPI’s Early Intervention Program, and age-appropriate activities such as creating hand/footprint art, storytimes, baby yoga with Be. A Center for Holistic Mental Health & Healing, and more.
This event is free for members and $11 for non-members. Infants under 12 months are free as well.
On Sunday, September 7 from 9am – 4pm we’re celebrating grandparents and the special role they play in children’s lives! Throughout the day, families can explore papermaking in The Lab, share food stories and recipes in Food to Grow, and create special gifts for grandma and grandpa in The Studio. Join your grandchildren at the BFK and create lasting memories together!
We’re offering FREE admission for grandparents and a 15% discount on Grandparent Memberships. This event is free with the paid price of admission or a BFK membership. No pre-registration is required.
Grandparents’ Day at the BFK is sponsored by the Doug and Mary Gunderson Family Fund Within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region.
