Spring Break Themed Days

In celebration of many schools being closed for Spring Break, the week of March 30 – April 3 will be filled with unique themed days! Check out our exciting line-up of themes:

Building for Grown-Ups: Roaring 20s
Friday, April 10: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Get ready to party like Gatsby at the BFK on Friday, April 10 from 6 – 9pm! During this adult-only shindig sponsored by Northland Electrical Services, the museum will transform into the razzle dazzle of the 1920s, as grown-ups let loose with themed activities, trivia, a scavenger hunt, dancing, a cash bar, and much more!
This event is for ages 21+ and an ID will be required at check-in. Pre-registration is encouraged. Get cheaper tickets when you register in advance at the link below!

Make Money Count at the Museum
Saturday, April 11: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Join us on Saturday, April 11 for Make Money Count at the Museum, brought to you by Money Smart Wisconsin Fox Cities, and learn how to make smart financial decisions while having fun! Throughout the day, the museum will transform into a mini economy as kids try out playful jobs to earn money and learn how to make thoughtful choices about spending, saving, and sharing it.
Plus, families will enjoy interactive storytimes scheduled throughout the day, offering even more engaging opportunities to learn about smart financial habits.
This event is free with the paid price of general admission or a BFK membership. No pre-registration is required

Baby’s Night Out
Wednesday, April 15: 4:30pm – 6:00pm
Join us for our next Baby’s Night Out, sponsored by Wisconsin Swim Academy, on Wednesday, April 15 from 4:30 – 6pm! Enjoy an evening of age-appropriate activities for the whole family, including hand and footprint art, a sensory bin experience, storytimes, and more. There will also be opportunities to connect with other families, listen to parenting presentations, and access resources from community partners.
This event is free for members and $11 for non-members. Infants under 12 months are free as well.

Teen’s Night Out
Tuesday, April 28: 6:30 – 8:00pm
Join us on Tuesday, April 28 for Teen’s Night Out at the Building for Kids! During this free event for teens, attendees will get to:
- Socialize, make new friends, and spend time exploring our exhibits
- Create clay masterpieces and other art projects
- Make slime and Oobleck
- Enjoy snacks from a snack bar
Grab a group of friends and get signed up for a fun night out! This event is free, but registration is encouraged.
