Llama Llama is coming to the BFK for a PJ party! Wear your favorite PJs, and join us for after-hours playtime, themed activities, storytimes, pizza, and lots of opportunities to meet Llama Llama in his red pajamas! This event is sponsored by Festival Foods and costs $5 for members and $15 for non-members.
Sensory-Friendly Option: Designed for families in the autism community, we also have a sensory friendly option to meet Llama Llama on Wednesday, October 8. This event is free for families in the autism community.
The Building for Kids will transform into a Teddy Bear Urgent Care during a FREE night hosted by Children’s Wisconsin! Bring your teddy bear or stuffed animals for a check-up, engage in themed activities, and enjoy a free evening of play in the museum.
Each child will also receive a free teddy bear keychain, and their stuffed friends will get a sticker for being so brave during their visit!
This event is free for all families and no pre-registration is required.
Suit up in your Halloween costumes and join us for a day packed with frightfully fun activities! Show off your creativity and create spooky sock puppet creatures and Halloween masks in The Studio, sink your fangs into some delicious Pumpkin Bread in Food to Grow, and enter Frankenstein’s Laboratory and perform hair-raising experiments with a Van de Graaf Generator.
Plus, come dressed in your Halloween costume and receive $1 off the price of admission! Otherwise, regular admission applies.
Hear ye! hear ye! You are hereby invited to Building for Grown-ups: Medieval Knight, an adult-only night sponsored by TDS! Don thy finest medieval garb, rally thy fellow knights and nobles, and join us on Saturday, November 8 for a majestic evening enriched by themed festivities.
Compete in interactive quests including medieval trivia, a scavenger hunt, hobby-horse jousting, a combat demonstration by the Society for Creative Anachronism in North-East Wisconsin, themed-activities with the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, and much more! Plus, enjoy snacks, a cash bar provided by Stone Arch, raffles, and a dance party. Whether you’re a knight, wizard, or curious adventurer, this event promises a night of fun, fantasy, and festive delight!
If you pre-register, the cost is $20 per person. Cost at the door is $30 per person. This event is for ages 21+ and a physical ID will be required at check-in.
