Outer Space Day

Saturday, March 14: 9:00am – 4:00pm

Blast off into an out-of-this world adventure during a space-themed day at the BFK! Enjoy activities inspired by planets, stars, and the solar system, including making dehydrated astronaut food in Food to Grow, using chemical reactions to send canisters flying in The Lab, creating artwork that showcases the cosmos in The Studio, and much more.

This event is free with the paid price of general admission or a BFK membership. No pre-registration is required.

Spring Break Themed Days

March 30 – April 3

In celebration of many schools being closed for Spring Break, the week of March 30 – April 3 will be filled with unique themed days! Check out our exciting line-up of themes:

  • March 30: Dino Day
  • March 31: Under the Sea
  • April 1: Jr. Chef
  • April 2: Green Day
  • April 3: Music Makers

Building for Grown-Ups: Roaring 20s

Friday, April 10: 6:00pm – 9:00pm

Get ready to party like Gatsby at the BFK on Friday, April 10 from 6 – 9pm! During this adult-only shindig sponsored by Northland Electrical Services, the museum will transform into the razzle dazzle of the 1920s, as grown-ups let loose with themed activities, trivia, a scavenger hunt, dancing, a cash bar, and much more!

If you pre-register, the cost is $20 per person. Cost at the door is $30 per person. This event is for ages 21+ and a physical ID will be required at check-in.

Make Money Count at the Museum

Saturday, April 11: 10:00am – 2:00pm

Join us on Saturday, April 11 for Make Money Count at the Museum, brought to you by Money Smart Wisconsin Fox Cities, and learn how to make smart financial decisions while having fun! Throughout the day, the museum will transform into a mini economy as kids try out playful jobs to earn money and learn how to make thoughtful choices about spending, saving, and sharing it.

Plus, families will enjoy interactive storytimes scheduled throughout the day, offering even more engaging opportunities to learn about smart financial habits.
