About the Doll Hospital
The Doll Hospital, sponsored by ThedaCare, is designed to simulate a pediatric doctor’s office, allowing children to role-play as caregivers, doctors, or nurses. The exhibit supports healthy development through imaginative play-based learning, helping children:
- Become familiar with medical environments in a safe and welcoming setting.
- Build empathy, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Engage in intergenerational play with caregivers.
In September 2024, we celebrated the grand reopening of our Doll Hospital exhibit with a ribbon cutting ceremony as part of a major museum-wide renovation. Watch the video to learn more!
