Do you have an 18 - 36 month old? Join us at the BFK for Early Explorers on Tuesdays or Saturdays at 10am! During Early Explorers, a museum educator facilitates activities that are aimed to strengthen the relationship between children and grown-ups, develop motor skills, and connect socially. This program is free with the paid price of general admission.

Join us for Baby’s Night Out at the BFK! On Wednesday, September 3 from 4:30 – 6pm, we’re hosting an event for babies and their grown-ups. The evening will include opportunities to connect with new families, access to parenting resources from First Five Fox Valley and VPI’s Early Intervention Program, and age-appropriate activities such as creating hand/footprint art, storytimes, baby yoga with Be. A Center for Holistic Mental Health & Healing, and more. This event is free for members and $11 for non-members. Infants under 12 months are free as well. Register Here |

On Saturday, September 7 from 9am – 4pm we’re celebrating grandparents and the special role they play in children’s lives! Throughout the day, families can explore papermaking in The Lab, share food stories and recipes in Food to Grow, and create special gifts for grandma and grandpa in The Studio. Join your grandchildren at the BFK and create lasting memories together! We’re offering FREE admission for grandparents and a 15% discount on Grandparent Memberships during the event. Sensory Superstars consists of a lower-sensory environment at the museum – lower lighting, no music, and certain exhibits will be turned off. This program may also include guests, resources, and sensory-friendly activities. Sensory Superstars occurs the third Sunday of every month from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm and is free to families in the Autism community. Learn more here! |
