We believe that every family deserves the opportunity to play and form stronger family bonds. Our Access Initiative ensures that families going through financial hardships have access to safe, play-based learning opportunities at the Building for Kids.
Access Opportunities
- Access Admission – Families can visit the BFK for $3 per person
- Family Access Membership – Families can become members at the BFK with a sliding price scale, so families can find the right price for their family.
Eligibility Requirements
Access Admission and Family Access Memberships require documents showing income support.
Approved documentation includes:
- Foodshare/Quest
- WIC
- Badgercare Plus
- Free/Reduced School Lunch
- WHEAP
- Head Start
- Unemployment
- Wisconsin Shares Child Care Subsidy
- Referral from a local non-profit
