on Thursday, July 29th for a private event.

The Parade was a terrific success!  Thanks to everyone who participated or marched in the parade, our generous sponsors and volunteers, and everyone who watched the parade.  See you next year!

Kids will learn and have fun doing it! 

Take make-believe pizza orders over the phone, prepare the pizzas and deliver them to specific destinations.  Learn about fractions when you slice the pizza into halves, quarters, eights, etc.   Then become part of a super size pizza with fun giant-size ingredients!  Learn to use fresh garden produce to make your own delicious and nutritious pizzas.  This exhibit will provide fun and challenging activities for kids age 3-10. 

Professional Pizza Crust Tosser

Jeff, from Polito's Pizza, will demonstrate how to toss pizza like you see on TV.  He'll show you how to do it, and you can try it, too!  Then, taste fresh farmer's market pizza ingredients. 

Jeff's pizza-tossing demonstrations will be presented at the St. Elizabeth Hospital booth

at the Appleton Farmer's Market

on the east corner of Oneida St. & College Ave. :

Stay for Supper

On Wednesday, August 18th The Building for Kids will remain open until 7:00 p.m., and we'll be serving a healthy pizza supper for just $3 per person*.  You may buy your supper wristband in advance at the museum Welcome Center, or when you arrive. 

All pizzas served will be prepared with healthy ingredients.

2:00-4:00 p.m.

We'll have healthy ingredients from the Appleton Farmer's Market for kids to make a personal pizza.  We'll bake them and kids can enjoy their own tasty creations. 

This activity is included with membership or paid museum admission.
