Vaccine Clinics

The BFK in partnership with the Appleton Health Department is hosting COVID-19 vaccination clinics at the Building for Kids Children’s Museum (100W. College Avenue, Appleton, WI). All kids 12 and under who attend a vaccine clinic at the BFK for the first time will receive a FREE 3-month membership to the Building for Kids when they receive their first, second, or booster shot. Families can also play in the museum for free before and after their vaccination.

Vaccine Clinic Dates:

  • Monday, August 15: 3-6:30pm
  • Monday, August 22: 3-6:30pm
  • Monday, September 12: 3-6:30pm
  • Monday, September 19: 3-6:30pm

Vaccines Available:

  • Ages 6 months to 5 years = Moderna
  • Ages 5 years and older = Pfizer

This is a free opportunity, but registration is required.

Sensory-Friendly Vaccine Clinics

The BFK is also partnering with the Autism Society of Greater Wisconsin, ThedaCare, and the Wisconsin Early Autism Project to host sensory-friendly vaccine clinics at the Building for Kids. 

This clinic will offer Moderna vaccines and boosters to eligible community members. There is no cost for participants. Parents and other family members are welcome to schedule their vaccines or boosters. Pizza will be available for dinner and participants are welcome to play in the museum after receiving their vaccines.

Participating families will receive a $100 gift certificate to the Building for Kids Children’s Museum.
