On Thursday, December 11 from 6:30 – 8:30pm, the BFK is hosting our very first teen night in partnership with This is Improv! During this free event, middle and high school students are invited to participate in workshops hosted by This is Improv that teach valuable life skills in a fun and interactive way. Teens will also get to have fun socializing and playing in our exhibits! This is a free event, but registration is encouraged.
The Grinch is leaving his cave on Mount Crumpit and coming to the BFK! Put on your holiday or Grinch-inspired outfits and join us on Friday, December 12 from 5 – 7pm for pizza, Grinch-themed activities, after-hours playtime, storytimes, and plenty of opportunities to meet the Grinch. This event costs $5 for members and $15 for non-members.
We also have an opportunity to meet the Grinch in a lower-sensory environment, including dimmer lighting, no music, and certain exhibits turned off, on Wednesday, December 10 from 5 – 7pm. This event is FREE for families in the autism community.
Welcome 2026 at the BFK! On Wednesday, December 31 from 9am – 4pm, we’re hosting our annual BFK New Year event, complete with themed activities all day long. Create your own musical instruments and noisemakers in The Studio, join lively parades throughout the museum, and get ready for confetti-filled countdowns and ball drops!
This event is free with the paid price of general admission or a BFK membership. No pre-registration is required.
