Small Group Programs

The Building for Kids will open in phases as it is deemed safe to do so by local public health experts.

We are currently offering small group programming!

We are currently offering small group programming in the museum! These facilitated programs are designed for a small group of households to participate in from distanced workstations. We’ll be offering various programs over the coming weeks. All visitors 3 and up are required to wear masks for indoor programming. Registration is required.

We are dedicated to supporting student learning, so many of our classes meet WI Education Standards.  See below for more details.

Current and Upcoming Programs

Spooky Sticky Science (Ages 2 +) – October 20 – 31

Join us for some sticky science! We’ll make our own sticky polymer and squishy oobleck in a bag all while learning about the science of things that are sticky.

Gratitude Murals – November 4 – 7 & November 25 – 29 (Healthy Kids Month)

Work together to design and create a mural on canvas! We’ll learn about murals, experiment with different types of media, and create a one of a kind piece of large art to take home. Great for all ages!

Mindful Mandalas – November 11 – 14 (Healthy Kids Month)

Explore being in the moment and the strength of focusing your mind and body as you create circular mandalas. In the end, you will have a unique piece of art and a new way to practice mindfulness. Modifications for all ages.

Calming Dough – November 18 – 22 (Healthy Kids Month)

Discover the calming qualities of dough and lavender. We will mix our own dough, incorporating lavender buds to release their naturally calming properties. Modifications for all ages.

da Vinci Studio Hour

Join us for da Vinci Studio Hour in our da Vinci Art Studio! We’ll provide a brief introduction to an art project and then you will have time to complete the project or have “free art” time on your own. The possibilities are endless!

Programs are free for members and $10 for non-members. Visitors who are part of ACM or ASTC reciprocal programs must call (920.734.3226) to register for a program.
