Sponsor a Volunteer Event

The Building for Kids is a non-profit agency that receives no state or federal funding. We are not a United Way agency. However, we are a volunteer-driven organization, with more than 150 volunteers who give of their time and talents. We love to say thank you a few times a year to those special people.

As a sponsor you would make these events possible. Each event entails inviting volunteers and their families to the museum free of charge for a evening or afternoon of fun. We serve pizza and soda or cake and ice cream. Sometimes we have been fortunate enough to even have entertainment. Recognition is one of the main elements of retaining volunteers.
