
The museum only accepts group visits of children ages 12 and younger, with advance reservation. A "group" is a school or established organization (i.e. YMCA, Girl Scouts, Boys & Girls Club) with bylaws, or licensed daycare centers.

Children are not admitted without an adult, and adults are not admitted without a child, please see our admission policy.
With prior permission from Museum staff, a babysitter age 16 years and older may accompany children under the age of 12 to the museum.
Effective November 1, 2008, The Building for Kids welcomes visitors from other childrens' museums who have a valid museum membership card with ACM sticker and photo id. There is a limit of two free visits per year for ACM visitors.
Effective November 1, 2008, The Building for Kids welcomes ASTC visitors who have a valid museum membership card with ASTC logo, photo id and who reside more than 90 miles away from The Building for Kids.
The Building for Kids reserves the right to refuse admission.
