Upcoming Girl Scout Overnights
at The Building for Kids!

The Building for Kids will be hosting Girl Scout overnights.
The overnights run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.
It is open to any Girl Scout but requires a chaperone. Chaperone fee is $5.00 per adult for either overnight.

Badge or Try-It Earning Overnight.
Girls select a Badge or Try-It to earn. Cost includes staff guided Badge or Try-It class, Badge or Try-It patch, museum patch, museum discovery, movie, scavenger hunt, and evening snack and breakfast. Brownie Try-Its:

Science Wonders- $26.00 per girl

Be the scientist! Make your own bubbles, paper, and invisible ink and learn about static electricity.

Art to Wear- $30.00 per girl

Be an artist: Design and decorate your own T-shirt, make your own face paint, and learn to Paper-Mache.

Eat Right, Eat Healthy- $25.00 per girl

What you eat affects your health. Be a health detective and find the foods that are best for you, create a food puppet, and make a fun healthy recipe.

Junior Badges:

Math Whiz- $26.00 per girl

Math is used everywhere. Go on a math hunt, test your prediction powers, create a math puzzle- become a math whiz!

Drawing and Painting- $26.00 per girl

Capture your creativity. Learn about primary and secondary colors, paint a group mural, and learn to finger paint, sponge paint, and more.

Science Discovery- $28.00 per girl

Build a kaleidoscope, make a needle float on water, and make disappearing ink- all while staying overnight in our museum!

Cost is $15 per girl and includes museum discovery, movie, scavenger hunt, and evening snack and breakfast.
